The 'Idiot Sheets' ! The 'Idiot Sheets'

The 'Idiot Sheets' as they became known were the Regional Controllers logs. I only ever saw those for the Eastern Region, but no doubt every region had a similar system. They contained details of all the failures, farces and foibles encountered in the every day running of BR. Occasionally and probably illegally, print outs of the logs would be smuggled out of a TOPS office somewhere and distributed amongst the network of 'bashers' providing much mirth and amusement.
